Join the practice

Dynmark Technosoft is a small practice that hires carefully. This page exists so that anyone interested in joining us understands what we look for and how to get in touch.

How we hire

A small firm, hiring slowly

We hire slowly because we staff engagements with senior people who stay accountable from beginning to end. That discipline requires that every hire is a clear fit.

We rarely post public openings. The most productive route to us is a written note introducing yourself, a short explanation of the kind of work you are interested in, and a sample of your writing or thinking. We read every note ourselves.

What we look for

Four qualities we value above most others

01

Clear writing

Our default deliverable is a written document. If you cannot write a clear paragraph, you cannot work here, regardless of how clever the analysis underneath is.

02

Intellectual honesty

The willingness to say a finding points somewhere inconvenient, and the humility to hold a view lightly when the evidence moves.

03

Operating experience

Time spent inside a real operating environment tends to produce sharper consulting judgement. We weight this heavily.

04

Respect for the craft

A genuine interest in the unglamorous parts of the work, including the interview notes, the model documentation, and the footnote that nobody would notice if it were wrong.

Current hiring posture

Where the firm is in its hiring cycle today

Dynmark Technosoft is not running a formal recruitment drive at the time of publication. The firm is, however, always interested in hearing from senior operators and advisers who might join the associate network for a specific engagement. The difference between a standing vacancy and an associate introduction is described below.

A standing vacancy is a named role the firm is actively trying to fill, with a written specification and a target start date. When the firm has a standing vacancy, the role is described in a short note that is shared with anyone who asks by writing to info@dynmarkit.com with the subject line Careers.

An associate introduction is a first contact with a prospective member of the senior associate network. The firm is open to these at any time and treats every introduction as the start of a working relationship rather than as a transactional enquiry.

This hiring posture is reviewed on the first business day of every calendar quarter and is updated on this page when it changes.

How to apply

Write to us

Send a short note to info@dynmarkit.com with the subject line starting with the word Careers. Tell us who you are, what you are looking for, and why you think Dynmark would be the right place for it. Attach a sample of your writing or thinking if you have one. We read every note and we reply.

We do not use recruitment intermediaries and we do not ask applicants to pay for any part of the process. The firm does not charge a fee for any stage of the hiring process and will never ask an applicant for a deposit, a training fee, or a payment of any kind.

Bring us a question that matters.

Share a short brief and we will come back within one business day with an initial view and the shape of a possible engagement.
